Emre has lived in New York City since 2001 and has worked on a wide variety of foodservice projects from beginning to end over the years. His experience prior to joining JDB includes various positions as kitchen equipment contractor, foodservice equipment manufacturer’s representative, and senior equipment buyer for Whole Foods Market.

Early in his career, Emre received his Diploma in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education, followed by a stage with Chef Marcus Samuelsson.

He holds a master’s degree in Food Studies & Food Management from New York University and his deep knowledge and experience in the industry enables him to contribute greatly to the success of the projects he is engaged with.

Emre is a professional member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI).
